Tonight I am going to see Fight Girl Battle World with priscellie. I am excited!
So last night I watched The Thing, which was as awesome as I remembered (and it's the first time I'd seen it since reading "Who Goes There?" so I was kind of pleasantly surprised to see how much of the movie clung tightly to the story.). And, admittedly, it still creeped me the hell out afterwards when it was two am and my house was dark and quiet.
This morning we watched Dead Silence, which was pretty much awful (and not even in a fun way) although the ending was cool. Donnie Wahlberg was in it and my father did not know he was a New Kid. I told him all about it afterwards. Good times.
So, anyway, here is some music I've been thinking about lately:

This keeps coming up on my iPod. Everytime I hear it I remember how much I love Raul and also this show.
Dar Williams - Southern California Want to be Western New York
When twilighted was here we were (for some reason) talking about EuroDisney and couldn't remembered where it was until we both remembered a lyric from this song. AWESOME.
Barenaked Ladies - I Can, I Will, I Do
Everytime I hear this song I think, "Wow, this sounds SO MUCH like Barenaked Ladies!" And then... it is them.
De Novo Dahl - Shout
Remember when I was talking about songs I DL because of commercials. Um. This is one of them. It's actually free on their website! But I definitely bought the whole album anyway.
The Swell Season - Alone Apart
Another one that keeps popping up on my iPod. ♥ ♥ ♥ for this song.
Aimee Mann and Michael Penn - Two of Us
From the I Am Sam soundtrack. I really want BNL to cover this song. But this cover is ALSO awesome.
The Magnetic Fields - I Wish I Had An Evil Twin
I love this song more than is probably healthy.
