I'm $1000 richer and army-wiser. The workshop went very well, and had great responses on the evaluation sheets for the workshop. The MAJ in charge mentioned to me later that they might want to do this on a quarterly basis!! That would mean big bucks. I guess I'll just wait and see, but it looks positive. I'm just glad that they feel that it was useful to them. Who says there isn't money in a speech major? :) 9-5 workshop is very tiresome, though. And I had to teach from 5:30-8pm immediately following. But all's good in the world. One of the soldiers today wrote on his/her evaluation that this was the best workshop he's attended since enlisting in the Army and that it made him feel like he had a brain. Always good to hear.
