good news...
Have heard from sticksoldier confirming his being okay.
He's going to bring his good lady (i think) and high-tail it over here, since my place seems to offer more safety, and I was starting to wonder what I'd do when I needed to sleep; so now there'll be safety in numbers.
Hope he's got a good weapon and some reliable transport.
Called jase (who's not on lj) and he's okay too. He's holed himself up in his flat (which is working quite well, as the zombies appear to have trouble with stairs (not unlike the oldstyle daleks!) and he's planning to stay there until further notice). We'll exchange txts for the moment, phone credit being hard to come by, and keep in contact if emergencies arise.
I heard another bunch of them go past.
Through the park they came. That is one bad part of my current stronghold. I overlook the park. Luckily, not the path they travel along, only the far hill, but it's still a risk. I'm not sure how compos mentis they are, but I'm not taking any chances. I've told sticksoldier to come in around the back, and to stay out of sight. He'll ring when they get here.
