In the cold light of day

You'll be pleased to hear that the streets are empty.

I don't think it's a good sign.

It's quiet, far too quiet. We took it in turns to sit watch last night, and it was difficult, but nothing happened. My nerves are on edge, waiting for something to happen.

But this morning they're all gone. Every last one. The streets admittedly are slightly tinged with blood, but there are no bodies. I suppose everyone's either been eaten, is in hiding like us, or is a zombie.

Where have they all gone?

sticksoldier has gone out to do some recon. He's all weaponed up, and is due to report in at midday. Half an hour. I hope he's okay. They don't act like mindless zombies. Or rather they do, but they act like someone else is doing the thinking for them. We need to find out who's pulling the switches.

I still haven't heard from half of my flist, so I'm assuming the worst, although galacticconman is fine, although if anyone is totally equipped to deal with 'zombie plague' it's galacticconman.

I don't know what else to say, so I'll leave it there, and wait for sticksoldier's update.

Will keep you posted. (Boy do I wish the Doctor were here to sort it all out.)

questions, doctor terrible and the teaboy, friends, zombies?, boredom
