Overall I had a great time. There were no utter wow moments, but that's rather to be expected when you're spending the time running round entertaining kids, and you don't already have a buy in to the syste. Still there's a lot I can see that I'll get involved in, and that interests me going forward, and that I'd like to try. So all good.

Not particularly enthused about Empire, and getting less so by the minute. Leaving aside the internet trolls who seem to make up the majority of the player base (I’m assuming they don’t, they’re just the vocal ones), the communication is reminding me of the worst organised larp I’ve ever been to.

Didn’t do anything like the amount of housework I’d intended to do, since I fell badly ice skating at the start of the weekend and so anything involving putting pressure with my right arm, like drilling or hammering, was out.
