So, I'm seriously inclined to agree with Jeremy in his disdain for the "new and improved" old school Star Wars movies. I just got done watching Episode VI. The part at the very end, where everyone's partying, and Luke looks over and sees Yoda, Obi Wan, and Anakin? They totally superimposed Hayden Christensen for Anakin. So, I'm going through and rewatching all the movies I own.

Contact can still make me cry and say, out loud, "That is SO COOL."

Fools Rush In can still have me laughing hysterically at the keychain line. (I <3 Matthew Perry so much.) The rest of the movie has become unfortunately dated and corny and insincere. Ah, what time/age will do.

So Deshawn, Jimmy, Joel, and I went out and saw Hellboy II tonight. Maybe my POV is off since I haven't seen the first one, but...

It was completely bizarre. Would not recommend.

That being said, I'm still willing to see the first to see if that will validate itself.

Guillermo del Toro is a nut.
