(no subject)
So Jeremy did indeed come into town!
It was soooooooooooooo good to see him again! I think I really needed a visit from my past. And I like it being part of my present.
He got in Friday evening and we sent to a Thai and sushi place with Lety and met Deshawn, Jimmy, and Janet there. After dinner, the X-Raze peepz left and we met up with Sara (another blast from the past). She and her friend joined us at my apartment where we just hung out and reminisced (holy crap, did I actually spell that right on the first try?) and were silly and played DDR until like 4AM. Then, I passed out. But Jerm and Lety went swimming. (mmHMMM! They seemed to hit it off quite well. *wink wink nudge nudge*)
Slept late on Saturday (obviously), then he, Lety, and I went to Chili's for lunch. X-Raze was having a gaming tournament that day, so Lety went to Chapel Hill to see her tios and Jerm and I went there. He tried to hook up with Josh, but never could get a hold of him. :( Sucks.
Turned out that everyone else had plans for dinner, so we went to Little Tokyo, just the two of us. Had LOTS of nummy food and REALLY GOOD talk. We talked about life and growing up and relationships. I got to vent to him about "stuff" and mutual friends and family stuff and whatnot. I dunno why I feel like I shouldn't vent to people who are more consistently in my life.
... Great, now I'm going to ponder over that for awhile.
And he talked to me about what he was going through with his last relationship and his dad and brother and stuff.
Again, I really needed that good discussion / venting / sounding board.

After dinner, he, Lety, and I went out to rent Pulp Fiction so Lety could finally see it. she liked it. :D I liked it again.
Jerm left in the morning when I left for church. He had to be back on base that afternoon. It sucked that he only got to see Tom for like 2 minutes in passing. I felt bad for him for that. :\
He said that now that he's stationed in VA Beach (instead of freakin California), he would come visit more often. And that we could come visit him too.
I believe I will definitely take him up on his offer.
After X-Raze on Sunday, Janet, Janet's friend, Deshawn, Jimmy, Rodney, Brianna, and I went to see The Mummy III. It was pretty bad. They should've stayed in Egypt. Would not recommend.
I left my phone at church. Fail.
Also, Lety and I are determined to see The Future Kings of Nowhere at Tir Na Nog on August 14th. Who wants to join??
