Random thoughts fluttering through my head today:
*Watched Threshold last night - found it to be very scary, and very good. Oh no, is it possible that we're only at the start of the television viewing season and I'm already watching three new shows? That's more than I watched all of the last two seasons!
*I know I'm biased and have Joss issues, but still - during Threshold, there was a commercial for "Serenity", and I feel deep in my bones that I'm being objective when I saw it sucked. Doesn't mean the movies going to suck, I suppose, but the commercial? Looked like it was done by a bunch of amateur fans, and NOT the more talented ones. The production values on the television show during which it aired looked infinitely better in comparison.
*At the age of "almost" 35, is it really all that unusual to still be able to sleep in to 10 am or later? Keeping in mind that I have no kids or pets that need attention to wake me up earlier? My brother-in-law was sniping about it a few weekends ago, making me out to be some sort of freak of nature. Does he have a valid point?
*Why is it that people drive on the left hand side of the road in other countries? Or, if you prefer, how did it come about that it was right side of the road in the U.S.? Which came first - and why did the people who didn't come first decide that it was better to switch things around?
*I want to see The Corpse Bride, and I had convinced myself that it opened this weekend. But it doesn't, and now I'm all disappointed.
