Maybe that's why I've been binge-watching 2 seasons of Unbreakable Kimmy Schdmidt. I'm drawn to characters that have gone through a trauma and seeing how they bounce back and deal with their emotions and PTSD is comforting on some level.

There's a reason why my parents are my role models in my eyes. Even in circumstances like this and they still teach me life lessons everyday. Having empathy and being kind, to be less judgemental and critical and most of all to have a united front as partners. It's making me think about the kinds of person I would like to be more of so.
