New Year, New Life

Jan 10, 2011 05:57

It's the start of a New Year, a time to start fresh. It's time to leave behind baggage and strive forward into the future. It's time to reflect and change yourself with the help of loved ones.

So I realized that I never actually posted here, but your PlaidViking got married shortly after his last post. It wasn't anything big, just my wife, myself, and the justice. Heck, City Hall wasn't technically even open. It was a short, but very nice ceremony, and those of you who follow me on fb saw the pictures. Now, one month later, I have no regrets and the married life is going well. We're very untraditional in terms of the marriage Specifically our unconventional ring is still being made (and there will be pictures posted as soon as I'm able), we didn't have any guests at the wedding (though we're planning a ceremony for families later), we didn't have a honeymoon (though the Christmas vacation kinda counted), and all in all I haven't noticed much change between married life and living with fiancee life. Though I have noticed that I get extremely giddy whenever I mention my wife or anything akin to the fact we're married.

It's nearly time for me to kiss the wife and heaad off to work, more special anniversary post coming when I return.
