Just Playing Around
[Today is Akane's day off, and she's spending it romping around one of the gardens with that weird stripey puppy that says "Growlithe" sometimes.
Some of the Captains had found out about the puppy, even though Vice Captain Shiba and the rest of the 13th had tried to keep him a secret. But, in the end, it was decided that the puppy could stay, so now, Akane could play with it and frolic whenever she wanted.
And, even Captain Kuchiki (who has been the most vocal about removing the creature from the Seireitei) couldn't argue that the puppy's presence had changed Akane for the better. She was more happy and healthy, and she was even showing improvement in her training. The puppy had brought her to socialize with the 13th, while not her squad, she had still been friendly with other people, when before, she had always been alone. Even now, she had spent her days off trying to train, but she had something fun to do with the puppy and her friends in the 13th.
It was such a nice day too, not too warm, and not too cold. There weren't many clouds, so the sun was bright.
Vice Captain Shiba had some stuff to do today, but said he might be along later if he had time. So, for now, it was just Akane and the puppy running around and having a blast.]
[OOC: Because I have encountered waaaay more character abuse today than I'd like. Probably enough to fill my quota for a month or more. :| ]
