I'll have a real update tomorrow, because tomorrow is my day off and I plan on doing laundry and sitting back and relaxing. It has been a very long, long week. I've worked back and forth at both Montessori and Borders, and somewhere in the middle had time to catch and get over a cold. I'm looking forward to doing absolutely nothing.
So, seeing as how I have to leave to work in a few minutes, I wanted to leave you with a little music. Three songs have stuck with me this week, and I wanted to share. First up is a little Florence + the Machine, which I blame my love for on
elledoll , because until she put up the video for The Drumming Song, I had no idea who this was.

LOVE this song. I can't always understand the lyrics, but the sound of the music...ugh, I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it sounds to me.

The Cave by Mumford and Sons
This has been my driving song, apparently. Every time I get in my car I hear this on the radio, but you won't ever hear me complain.

The Moldau by Smetana
I remember first hearing this song a few years ago when I was taking a music appreciation class. The cd we had for the course only had a little snippet, but I fell in love. I have a classical station programed on my car radio and literally jumped in my seat when I heard they were going to be playing the entire movement. Everything about this piece...the strings? I LOVE strings, though I'm a little biased having played them in school, but oh, it's beautiful. The song is about a river and the song has the sounds of one.
