Hmm. I really shouldn't be hanging around on livejournal, but I've actually been working on my class paper (seminar, whatever) for the past few hours so I guess I can have a break. I feel oddly triumphant, because I no longer procrastinate for a million years before beginning assignments. For example, the one I've half finished now is due in early October. It's probably going to require some cutting in the historical context part though. If someone knows how to eloquently explain socialist realism and Soviet Russia in the 1920-30s, I'd love to hear it. However, I can't really find a way to cover those massive areas in no words. I say, sod it, because it's not like I'm not going to talk too fast anyway.

The Decemberists are awesome for writing assignments to, I've found.
