Somehow, my brain finally kicked in while talking to someone else - I CAN use my microphone/headphone set with my computer - just unplug the speakers and plug the headphones in there!  I very rarely use the speakers anyway.  Duh!  Such a simple solution, yet it took me 2 days to realize that.

As you can tell, I am technology challenged.

Gee, know what they say about the plans of mice and men... PHTHHH!

Since our DragonStorm group is having trouble getting out of our respective houses and we lost another place to game (this is a theme in my life), we tried online gaming tonight.  A site called itabletop.  Now this isn't bad in general unless you are behind the times in electronics ( Read more... )

That fits right now in many ways. My desk is still empty since theh large paper weight that used to be my computer is still gone = only now it is in pieces being tested to see what was wrong with it. Still empty is the current sermon series at church - see pic below of a paper mache "tomb" created for use on the alter. and still empty also ( Read more... )

I'm posting this from my netbook - my big computer went down over night. I believe this is the third electrical problem in the last 2 months and trouble comes in threes, right? So I hope... typing on the netbook as well as seeing the screen is a bit more difficult ( Read more... )

they are gone - lost under layers and layers of useless junk, never to be seen again. The Mr. came home last night and in 10 minutes, DOING WHAT I DID, had the router working and all computers that will run back on line. It ain't fair I tell ya, it just ain't fair! Between the $5 dollar fix that cost an additional $140, and now this, I quit. ( Read more... )
