My eldest daughter moved back home with us last fall due to money issues - she owed everyone and their brother because she quit a decent job for 2, count 'em, two low paying jobs that are barely part time.  *sigh*    So I now have an almost 23 year old home - again.  Last night she didn't come home, but at age 23, I have little control over that.   ( Read more... )

I guess I never realized how much time I spent looking at  Mark and Sue's various blogs, looking for e-mails from Mark, etc.  It is just hitting home that there will be no more uppdates on Mark's, blogs.  There will be no more updates to the Dragonstorm page until Sue is able to do something with it.  There will be no more  emails or conversations ( Read more... )

It is with a very heavy heart I must tell of al you that Mark Harmon, beloved husband of Susan Van Camp, died last Friday Dec. 7th of a heart attack. The Obituary is here:

Sheesh, I am not a nurse, I don't want to be a nurse, and people do not want me to be a nurse, so why is health issues suddenly surrounding me?  Last post I mentioned that I dislocated my shoulder?  well the Doctor yesterday told me I DIDN'T have to wear the sling/immobilizer thingy anymore.  Yea!  Downside - my shoulder hurts alot more than it did, upside is that I can now move my arm away from my body and do things like type, write, etc!    NOw to catch up on the tasks that will not pull ( Read more... )
