Grrr

I know it's been a while, but I need somewhere to rant. So my guide dog is having some annoying skin issues, from the biopsy the results show a huge possibility that it is allergies especially sensitivity to insect bites. Now our vet being great instead dragging it out has referred us to a dermatology specialist and this specialist wants me to fill out a four page questionnaire. I'm fine with that I can answer most of the questions but since I have only had May for two months now, I sent the questionnaire via e-mail to her puppy raiser and my school field rep. Now her puppy raiser was fantastic and sent me his answers right away, thanks you rock; however I'm having a little issue with the school. I got an e-mail back saying please refer to the health info in your grad package. Yep I've done that despite it being the smallest printing on earth, given to someone who is visually impaired. I'm willing to overlook that part, now there is no info in regards to when she gets her baths and what product they use. This is a part of the questionnaire that I wanted to get their input on and sent another e-mail pointing those questions out to see if I could get this info. Well I got another e-mail back, again telling me to look at the health info in my grad package and that is all the information that they have. Now you think that someone at the school would know what the groomers in the kennels are using on the dogs and when they get baths or at least an estimate or be able to find out!! So I now have called grad services and left a message with the rep hoping to get some more info then the health info in the grad package is all we have. Her puppy raiser was upfront with us and said that she has mouth warts when she was one that wasn't recorded on the health records at the school and just the documented dry skin. I'm paying for all the her vet bills myself and haven't asked the school for financial help only help filling out this frackin' questionnaire I was hoping for a bit more that look at your grad package like I'm an idiot who wasn't smart enough to look at it already. GGGRRRRR. I don't want to have to return my guide to the school due to her allergies, but I am coming to accept that this is a possiblity.

EDIT: around 6:30 pm pst I was contacted by a lovely lady from graduate services and she helped me answer the two questions that I really wanted the school's input in. If I need further help she said to call and talk with her or another grad. services rep and they can look into it for me! YAY!!!

I wish that her itching (and biting), slightly watery eyes (conjunctivitis was ruled out) and hair loss was stress-related, but she shows no signs of stress if you don't count the itching and hair loss. I was expecting the first few months at home to be bumping; however I was not expecting this. The irony that we might be dealing with allergies, when I have large issues with allergies myself. *sigh* I wish that this would just go away, but it won't so I have to deal with it.

Good news is I start allergy shots in the end of August. Bad news is my allergies are hitting a record for being horrible. I am taking medication, but the symptoms are still like it was before the allergy test and when I was taking only one anti-histamine.

His Tallest is in China on the last week of a two week business trip and I can't wait till he gets back. I haven't been sleeping well and I'm getting stressed myself dealing with keeping Maylee from itching and biting herself (which is getting hard to distract her from) and having mini-me (now turning into a teenager complete with attitude and moodiness) home for summer holidays.

Here's some other good news
