dinosaur acts

i saw andrew bird last night. he's really talented and impressive, and emily stood near him for about ten minutes before the show but was too scared to talk to him. what a wimp. i also saw low last week--one of the best shows ive ever been too. they didn't play "dinosaur act," but the whole show was beautiful and inspiring. my floor had our first intramural basketball game last night. we lost, but its ok because the referees were just a bunch of pubies. im working in my dorm's cafeteria--my supervisor is a guy named dave who loves the scifi channel and tigers and scorpions. it's a good job. so far this semester i've spent more time doing activist work than homework. it's a good feeling--hopefully it isn't reflected in my grades.

think you can stop the golden eagles? you've got another thing coming. buddy.

yesterday a guy on my floor said to me, "i likes the drink." it was surprisingly funny.
