i've had such a great couple of weeks - last weekend i took my little brother Dylan to Thorpe Park for the day, took him home to Dad's on the train and went to Marwell Zoo with the whole family on Sunday, and this weekend Dad and Dylan came to stay with me. i went to Dad's last weekend and spent time with him, my step-mum Sue and the kids. we went to visit a farm (where i underestimated the sun pretty badly and have ended up with bright pink shoulders), played water games in the garden, built Dylan's new Tardis-shaped wardrobe for his Doctor Who bedroom and had a delicious barbecue to celebrate Dad's ( Read more... )

i had my first go at shooting and editing a video at the weekend, just using the tiny built in memory on my digital camera so no sound recording and less than a minute of footage to play around with.

hiddenshallows and i just spent a happy couple of hours on Youtube, ostensibly looking for a particular Snape/Lucius fanvid to Alice Cooper's Poison (no joy, anyone got a link?), and we came across this one instead. it's Harry grieving for Sirius to No Doubt's Don't Speak and it's very well done. made us both a bit sad anyway. poor Harry.
