i have a Nokia N95 8GB mobile phone. it's a great piece of kit, i use it a portable hard drive, media player, camera, video camera, sat nav, mobile banking device, alarm, calendar etc. etc. but essentially it's a singing and dancing phone. all i really wanted to do was call and text but i thought having all my gadgets in one would be a good idea. i'm on my own on a night shift at work on the ninth floor of my building, and there have been two power cuts so far tonight since i've been here.

i know there's no rational reason to be afraid of the dark, but it's creepy enough being alone in a giant building with the lights on and i don't need the extra adrenaline!

we had a new guy in work finishing his training today. on his first live call he suddenly turned around and said "who's D'nuss?". everyone else fell around laughing whilst the person on the phone explained that they'd actually said "i'd like to speak to the nurse please". difficult accent apparently. ha! best first call ever!
