my last exam was yesterday and i switched to full time hours at my job on Monday. the student thing is all over bar the award of a classification and the potentially embarrassing short walk across the stage in my hired gown and hood.
as a full time employee i now get to be trained on more crucial (i.e. the sort of software where it's one wrong move and all the data is deleted from the system) activities, will get my own client to manage in a few weeks and can now participate in such thrilling endeavours as 'data maintenance day' (which is tomorrow, in case you all want to celebrate it too, and yes i am actually very excited about it!).
hiddenshallows and i put down a holding deposit on an adorable little flat in vauxhall over the weekend, and we're hopefully moving in on 15th June. both my parents are thrilled by this, as all of Laura's worldly belongings have been living in boxes in my dad's garage, and all of mine are in my mum's spare bedroom. we're expecting two vans to arrive from different directions, unload and depart full of gleeful nest-emptying parents.
