As MOD, I'm invoking my MODly rights to do this...

I've seen these Drabble-a-thons around a lot lately, and I think they are a great idea. So... I thought why not do one for Sakura ships? His fangs fit perfectly into the curve of her clavicle, where neck meets with shoulder. Feather-soft grazes of tiny, pointed teeth over heated skin, and whips of pink hair. Sakura loves Kiba’s tattoos. They're bight and angled. And they reminded her of why she nearly loves him.

She asked him once if he remembered getting them, and he shrugged.

“I’ve had them for as long as I can remember.” She smiled in the early-morning light streaming into her bedroom, casting long shadows of orange and rust-red across her bed. It was the only night he’d ever slept over. She could still hear wedding bells echoing in the distance of the village.

He didn’t want to be alone. She, of all people, could understand that.That was the first time. He comes almost every night now ( ... )

It surprised her the first time Shino kissed her. They were on a date. He was shy and polite when he asked, and so full of sincerity she couldn’t say no. The way he turned one foot inward as he removed his sunglasses, squinting in the sunlight, and asked her if she would be interested in letting him escort her to dinner ( ... )

I've never read shino/sakura before because I'm scared that it could be mistreated badly but you've done it really well

“Leave.” The rain washed away the blood from Neji’s face. This headband was loose, exposing the bandages that were wrapped around his cursed seal, and Sakura was frozen in time, unable to move.

“No.” She watched him, cautiously as he took a cursory glance around the wooded area, his white eyes veined and intimidating.

“You are safe to flee now. Go, before they return.” Sakura took stock of the gash across her arm, tearing through the rain coat she was wearing.

“No, I’m staying.” She scooted even closer to him in the small ditch he’d dragged her into only a few moments earlier.

“You are ill-equipped to handle this situation.”

“I have face and killed a member of Akatsuki before.” Defiant as ever, she wasn’t willing to admit they were outnumbered, and outranked. Besides, he was wounded, perhaps fatally. And she would not just run away.

“And you were nearly killed yourself, had it not been for -”

He was cut off by the shink of a kunai sinking into the flesh and bone of her forearm, positioned directly in front of his head. His eyes ( ... )

It was one of their many fights: one of the ones that happened over and over and over again. No one really knew what they were about, not even the participants themselves, but they were always ugly, and almost always violent ( ... )
