As MOD, I'm invoking my MODly rights to do this...

I've seen these Drabble-a-thons around a lot lately, and I think they are a great idea. So... I thought why not do one for Sakura ships? I started to do this for myself a few months ago, trying to write a drabble for each Sakura ship. I didn't get very far, I'm sorry to say. But, I still think it' ( Read more... )

No One Wonders Why - Hidan/Sakura - PG13 kerrie13 June 26 2008, 19:51:51 UTC
It was one of their many fights: one of the ones that happened over and over and over again. No one really knew what they were about, not even the participants themselves, but they were always ugly, and almost always violent.

Of course, anyone that spent more than five minutes with Hidan could be driven to violence. How Sakura stood him at all was beyond anyone that knew her. Yet, perhaps that was just it. Sakura was naturally prone to violence. She liked the excitement, she liked the thrill, and there were a great many things that were exciting and thrilling about Hidan.

Unfortunately there were a great many annoying little quirks as well. She was a healer. He was a self-mutilator. When combined, it was a recipe for disaster. He was loud, abrasive and self-involved. He expressed any and all of his emotions so deafeningly, everyone was forced to listen. She bottled her emotions up until the dam burst and there was a flood of epic proportions.

No. No one really knew why they were together or how they could stand each other. But they had been together so long that everyone stopped questioning why and just sat back and watched. Their fights were epic. And entertaining.

This one was no exception.

"Hey, just so you know: it's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!"

Very nice ending. Poor Hidan -_-

I also liked, "there were a great many things that were exciting and thrilling about Hidan."
