Quite a nice win for the Red Sox tonight. They won by blowing out the Cleveland Indians 10-3. While Manny and Papi were basically on fire all night and kicked all kinds of ass and all, the offense was a lot of a team effort than anything else. Lowell had a hit and 3 RBI. Varitek and Kielty both had 2 RBIs as well. It was a great game. :) Just a nice team effort even though Eric Gagne decided he wanted to give us all a big fucking heart attack. Dude can't be trusted in a fucking 7 run lead, then there's seriously some problems there. The good news though is that they didn't hafta go to Papelbon, Okajima, or Delcarmen and that Gagne isn't available tomorrow. Hey gotta look at the bright spots. The Red Sox got to Sabathia(not entirely surprised that they touched him up for a few runs...but 5?! Dude!)

So a nice 1-0 lead in the series which is a very good thing. Start off on the right foot, that's the big key, dudes. Now something that fucking sucks? No fucking NESN postgame action until the goddamn fucking Bruins game ends. Dude, while I won't be crude enough to say that nobody gives a shit about the Bruins, I will say that at least today nobody really cares....for the most part. It's more like "DUDE I WANT POSTGAME ACTION!!!" so now gotta wait till like...what? 1am or some shit? BOOOOOOOOO. Not cool. not cool at all. Also I have the song "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'"-Journey stuck in my head all day today....
