ALCS Action: Are you guys ready?

Hey all what's new? Not a whole lot here. I worked this morning and just got out a little over a half hour ago. It was a pretty good day. But anyways that's not the big deal on hand. The big thing is what is happening tonight: The ALCS. :) I'm pretty pumped up to say the least. Oh and another reason on why I love Rob Bradford so much: This article on the Red Sox' bullpen with their quirks and all. It's so freaking awesome and fantastic...it makes me wish I was a reliever for the Red Sox. My favorite quote from it is about their 4th inning ritual: The Manny Delcarmen Band. This? Is seriously made of awesome.

Then comes the fourth inning, when the “The Manny Delcarmen Band” begins its repertoire. The musical interlude consists of a rhythmic beat, performed with water bottles and heavy balls, designed to help supply the impetus for a Red Sox rally.

The band began in Seattle, with Delcarmen kicking it off and Kyle Snyder and Javy Lopez jumping in. The initial show resulted in a four-run rally, and it never stopped from there, with the rows of fans in the bleachers behind the bullpen often getting involved with foot-stomping and hand-clapping.

Anyways onto tonight's game. ALCS Game 1. Now Cleveland is a tougher opponent than the Angels, that's for sure. They got a lot of fire and two excellent starting pitchers. The Red Sox and Indians are extremely evenly matched so I'm not shocked whoever the winner is, though I'd prefer it if the Red Sox were the winners. :) You know, bias an all. Josh Beckett and C.C. Sabathia go up against each other(or as I sometimes call him, NeedsaBathia....it's from The Dugout, folks). They key is to just win, dammit, as I had said before. No real other way to get around it. Cleveland is pretty scary in some aspects, but I think the Red Sox can win this. I really do. Now to just go out and execute, that is they key. I'm staying positive though. It should be a helluva fight and a helluva good time. It starts tonight...my stomach is knotted...I'm ready to go.
