Time for some more playoff goodness
Hey all. I got out of work about a little less than an hour ago so I'm just chilling out in my room and doing some surfing on the interwebs. Not a whole lot of surfing but enough to get my ish done. I'm having Lobster and Corn for dinner tonight. Huzzah! God I love living by the ocean sometimes, lobster any time of the year, folks. Even in fucking October! Sorry that's important to me because I *heart* seafood of all types. There's really not much to talk about other than myself being a little nippy. Oh and I bought like a shitload of food last night and it was all for naught because just as I got home I realized my mom went to the market. I hate when that shit happens.
Anyways ALCS Game 2 is tonight on Fox. Now last night was fantastic forever, but I don't think that it will be that easy tonight. Fausto Carmona, who had an amazing year goes up for Cleveland while the Red Sox have Curt Schilling. This is a battle of young and old, the playoff tested and the playoff virgin. It will be interesting to see how this turns about. I think this is Carmona's first appearance back at Fenway since his whole 2006 disaster experiment closing. I wouldn't read too much into that though, but it is interesting to think about. I think that the Red Sox can win this, however. I mean why not, right? It won't be as easy as last night(if it is, I'll be surprised) but I think they can win this because of the guy on the mound for them. Schill's done this before...he can do it again....also a well rested Papelbon, Delcarmen, and Okajima works too...leaving Fenway and going to the Jake up 2-0 would be huge for the Red Sox and it would take some pressure off Daisuke and make for a nice offday in between. Of course it's always easier said than done. Regardless, I'm staying positive and waiting to see how this game turns out. I'm ready though.
