Fox still sucks though
So what's new boys and girls? Not a whole lot here. I'm trying to bide my time before it's time for the ballgame. Work was work, it's what you usually expect. Today's gonna be pretty boring leading up to the game, I think. Just some lunch, some TV, and well...a whole boatload of nothingness. One thing that sucks is that I can't go out on weekends like normal people because I work on weekend mornings. That sucks pretty hard. But I have Monday-Wednesday and Friday off now. So I got that going for me, which is alright.
Anyways it's Kason Gabbard going up against John Danks tonight. Rookie on Rookie during Sox on Sox games. I still don't expect a whole lot from Gabbard. Yeah I know he had a shutout last time out, but I'm still a little resistant on trusting the fella. Maybe in due time, but right now, not completely. Hopefully he'll at least have a decent game and the offense will continue to hit, especially with RISP. Oh and no bad umpiring please. The game is on Fox but there's no Buck or McCarver which is good and also the one good thing Fox has done all year is that they have the players/celebs/etc. announcing the starting lineups. This is fuckign amazing when they get fellas like Papelbon or Pedroia because you learn new things about your boys(like Pedroia saying that he owns Mike Lowell in cribbage). Here's to someone not boring doing the lineup(Tavarez did it once and it was pretty nifty).
