First off THANK YOU to mabechid, ariange, becky_49 and roobes83 for your birthday wishes. I'm terrible with checking my flist; you guys are too good to me! ^^; Some of you did both lj and fb which was sweet and amused me. :D
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and productive Black Friday if you celebrate it. I don't like turkey and it was my birthday so...
GOOEYDUCK I mean GEODUCK... I love this stuff something fierce. I also had some good frog and squab but I stopped taking pictures after the first dish because I was too busy stuffing my face.
As if that wasn't enough, I went to Safeway to buy a fruity mousse cake because you only turn 18 once! ;P
I also went to Teatro Zinzanni with some friends and it was a lot of fun. The food wasn't great and it was definitely pricey and probably not something I'd do again just for the hell of it, but it was a great experience. It was a crazy mix of opera, acrobatics, improv, tap and musical theater. Words can't really describe it. So weird, but in a very good way.
Also, I had to double stick tape my dress to my boobs that night. It was my first time trying that with just regular stationary tape and not specialty dress tape and I think it held up rather well. lol. Go figure. A heck of a lot cheaper.
I'm so excited I picked up some great stuff on Black Friday. Technically I didn't pick anything up, but I worked my mouse clicking skills to the max. I went at bit crazy at Old Navy and picked up $40 worth of $5 camis, long sleeved shirts, etc. Basics basically. Then it was onto Amazon where I was lucky enough to get the $89 Kindle and some $5 boots. But damn, Amazon is tricky, those lightning deals are quick. One second slower and you get nothing. I wasn't even planning on buying a Kindle, but the deal attracted me. I figure I can now stop paying late fees to the library because I keep forgetting to return my books on time.
Any Kindle users out there know of some good sources for "bargain" ebooks? ;p
Last but not least, XMAS CARD EXCHANGE!!
You know the drill, leave your address, comments are screened. PM or email work too. I don't have a creative bone in my body so expect store bought cards. In fact, expect some fug cards, because if I get cards from some charities I donate to again, those are the ones going out. I STILL have some cards left over from previous exchanges, so here's to hoping you don't get the same card twice. Though for koishii_hime I think 3rd times a charm with the reindeer right? XD
Lastly, I can't believe Sergio bitch slapped/shoved both Puyi and Xavi. I need a gif of that.
