Yesterday they said you would not go far
Sorry I've been a bit absent flist. I have been reading, just lazy about commenting even when I actually have something to say. >_<
Last Friday, I took kugelkopf to Le Colonial for his birthday dinner. It was raining and on the way there, I slipped on a manhole cover and fell down. Argh. The meal cost me $180. Double argh. kugelkopf was still hungry and he may or may not have eaten some ramen at home later. Whoops. Food was good at least.
Saturday was my high school reunion. I didn't go. No, this is not one of those too cool for school things; I just didn't feel like going. The reunion was at a bar in SF from 10pm-2am, $50, and you only get two free drink tickets. Ehh... pass. Honestly, there are only 2 reasons to go to reunions.
Sunday I went to my friend's house for dinner and on the way there, someone rolls back into my car while we're stopped on a hill. I motioned for him to turn into a nearby parking lot so we could discuss damages and whatnot. He starts to do so, but then his gf gets out, looks at his bumper, gets back into the car and they speed off. OH HELLS NO. I follow them and get their license plate number before I pull over to examine my car. Luckily for them, nothing is damaged or I would have called the cops about a hit and run. I get that maybe the gf saw that there was no damage so they drove off, but isn't that fucked up? Shouldn't you pull over and be like "hey sorry, but no harm no foul, so let's just drop this"? I think I'm owed at least that much. My friend told me I made the mistake of staying in the car, but I didn't want to get out in the middle of the road and I was expecting him to pull into the lot so we could talk like civilized humans. Guess that's too much to expect these days.
Going to Harry Potter on Weds. Yay!
Am hoping I have better self restraint during this Black Friday then I did last year...
Going to Teatro Zinzanni with friends for my birthday. Quite excited. But wtf is up with me and overpriced food?
I think I'm going to cry when I get November's credit card statement. D:
