It's both a blessing and a curse when I meet a woman with the same root name as mine -- Kris-. I like it because it's easy to remember. However, remembering which Kris- it was can be daunting. Kristine, Kristen, Krista, Kristina, Krystal, Krystie, Kirsten, etc. And they get all pissed when you can't remember the proper one.
