pieofthetigerAuthor's notes: This is the first time I've written McGibbs, but it probably won't be the last. It was actually a ton of fun to write and I might have to do it again sometime.
McGee was nothing like Tony, even McGee himself, knew that.
The young Probie had always wanted his Boss, he scared and aroused him all at the same time. He'd never told Gibbs that, however. But only because Tony had always been in the picture... Tony loved to be the center of attention, especially the center of Leroy Jethro Gibbs' attention. And that hadn't changed after something had happened and the two of them had broken off their "relationship". McGee wasn't even sure that it could be rightly called a relationship, the two of them seeming to have control issues. It had been odd watching them interact, both at work and out of the office, they sort of had a sub/dom relationship that made Tim a little nervous and perhaps jealous as well.
Something else had changed too, Tim noticed. Gibbs had started paying a lot more attention to him instead of Tony and it actually felt pretty good. However, it didn't stop Tony from trying to get the older man's attention and as the next few weeks moved along, McGee found himself getting more and more frustrated.
Until finally, he snapped.
"Tony, would you quit it?!"
All eyes fell on Tim and he flushed right to the tips of his ears and shrugged it off. His eyes widened, however, when Tony turned in his chair and stood, heading towards him and pressing his hands down on the desk. "Do you have a problem, McProbie?" Tony asked, leaning forwards until he was only a few inches away.
"Yes, I have a problem," McGee snapped before he could stop himself. He opened his mouth to say more but nothing came out, Tony looking at him expectantly before he reached over and head slapped him, heading back to his seat and throwing his legs up onto his desk. Frowning at him, McGee, sat up straighter and read out the information he'd gathered for their case, keeping it short and sweet just how Gibbs liked it, the younger man feeling a little pleased with himself as he felt Tony glaring at him, Gibbs only nodding approvingly.
"Alright, DiNozzo, ready the car-"
"You heard him David," Tony quipped only to get a smack on the head by Gibbs.
"I said you DiNozzo, don't keep me waiting," Gibbs said, going over to McGee and throwing him a wink as he passed, heading for the elevator, everyone gathering their things to hit the field.
All of them scuffling into the elevator after their boss, there was silence as they headed down towards the basement where the van was parked, Tony having taken the stairs down to be there before them, readying the van like he'd been ordered to. Tim looked over at him as the doors opened and he was too busy with his focus on Tony that he didn't see Gibbs gaze and smile until his hand landed on the younger man's back and his mouth went dry. Turning his head to look at Gibbs, Tim only just managed a smile as his Boss' hand linger before the man was walking away.
Had that really happened. With just one glance at a smirking Jethro, Tim realize that it, had in fact happened and his dream was coming true. Gibbs was interested. But how had he known that he, McGee, had been interested enough that Gibbs risked flirting in the workplace. Had Abby told him?
Or maybe David had.
One glance at her, told him all he needed to know, the ex-mossad looking rather proud of herself as she looked back and forth between them as they all got into the van, Gibbs driving. When he was sure Gibbs full concentration was on the road, Timothy leaned in a hissed into Ziva's ear. "You told him didn't you?"
"Told who what, McNervous?" Tony asked nosily, only to be ignored.
"Ziva?!" McGee demanded quietly.
"Yes, okay, you looked so sad I had to shoot you out of your misery," Ziva replied, confused.
A quick glance at the rear view mirror had McGee swallowing hard, Jethro's eyes on him, a hungry look in them and Tim was so distracted that he didn't even care that in his jealousy Tony smacked him upside the head.
In fact, it felt pretty good. Everything did.
