So I took the first step to making the most of my future...
I rung up the correspondence school today to talk to them about school at my age and they're looking forward to having me. I go in to see my government worker on the 7th and they told me I have to choose a good amount of courses, so I get a good amount of credits to earn the certificate. It took a lot of umming and ahhing before I finally picked the following:
Media Studies - NCEA Level 1
Digital Technology - NCEA Level 1
History - NCEA Level 1
English - NCEA Level 1
Legal Studies - NCEA Level 1
I'm also considering:
Visual Arts - NCEA Level 1
But only if it won't be too much. I really hope it won't be, but I'm definitely going to do the top five of them. I'm feeling kind of good about myself even if it is at high school level, I just never finished, and now I'm actually going to do it. It's about time, is all I have to say. *smiles*
