Day 6 - A song that reminds you of somewhere:

This was, I believe, the second single/music cassette I ever owned (the first one being
"Waterfalls" by TLC). I loved the song to bits and played it at every available opportunity.
It reminds me of summertime at the apartment complex my mom, brother and I lived in when I was in grade school. There was a girl that lived up the street whom I'd just become friends with. She brought out her tape player while I busted out the Mariah Carey single and we danced and laughed and sang along with it for hours. I'm surprised none of the neighbors told us to pipe down, because we turned that shit all the way up to eleven.
And it hurts me to admit this, but back then if another girl or myself had a puppy-love boyfriend (I still remember his name, by the way ♥) I'd refer to it as being "in tha house" from the ODB rap at the beginning of the song. I was 8 years-old. *facepalm*
As a direct result of the Asian Festival -- report coming soon because YouTube refuses to upload my videos right now -- I'm on a big wuxia/Wong Kar-wai/Tony Leung/Peking opera kick, and I'm lovin' it~.
