Awaiting Amber Pacific Concert In Oakland
It's such a gorgeous day outside, I'm not even joking. The sun is shining, there is a slight breeze, and it's a brisk 55 degrees. I would love to just spend the entire day outside, soaking up all California winter has to offer, but I have a different event to attend.
I'm going to soon be on my way to see one of my all time favorite bands, AMBER PACIFIC, in Oakland, CA. The tickets were dirt cheap, the venue looks small and quaint, and it's an afternoon show, which means it won't be two o'clock in the morning when I return.
I've got only the bare minimums that I'll need for the afternoon: some cash, since I'm not at all bringing my wallet to Oakland, my cell phone (tucked safely away in my pocket, not off on a belt clip), my chap stick/rubber bands, and the directions/print-out of tickets. I'm going to be taking Bart there and back, and overall I'm expecting to have an incredible time. Souvenirs will definitely be purchased.
I seriously cannot wait; this will be one of the most awesome days in '06 so far!
