Ah comics. I do love them. They're so pretty, and they tell a good story.

But then, almost as often, they frustrate the hell out of you >.<. Whether they be manga or American comics. Both have their pros and cons- personally I think the American comics have prettier art (in color, too). That said, Japanese manga tend to have much better plot ( Read more... )

First I bring bad news, dear flist. I returned to work yesterday to find out that after some issues with his family (whom he was staying with), Jesse finally had enough and has moved out of state. All within the few days I was off. ;_; I is deeply saddened.

Just had a sudden weird thought. Best part of getting braces off is that you get to feel your teeth, right? Eat normal stuff again, etc.

So the braces are finally coming off in a few hours. Thank God- my mouth needs to feel normal again, dammit. I'm tired of these things cutting up my cheeks.

First off, Jesse is like the most awesome co-worker ever. I don't think I say this often enough. But he's funny as hell, plays the Insult Game with me, buys me Mike's Hard Lemonade, sings badly while throwing the truck, and if you poke his belly button he'll laugh like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. XD

Today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Then again, since I had to cut my overtime and thus go home nearly two hours early, I guess that's to be expected. ^_^
