A Gaudi wall from Park Guell in Barcelona, where we spent a lovely five days last July. Unfortunately we arrived too late to get tickets into the 'statue' area (that's the second time we've been there and haven't seen the mosaic statues - last time was about 25 years ago and the Park was closed when we got there! This is a very small dry stone wall that I built (am building?) around a flower bed. Not as easy to do as you might think!

I already posted my best photo of 'THE Wall' for the previous Wall prompt, last April. So, in the spirit of recycling, here is a picture of part of the old city walls, built from stone plundered from Hadrian's Wall and then plundered in turn to build parts of the rapidly industrialising city.

The word for this week is wall.

I commented to thismaz that I thought 'The Wall' straight away. THE wall in the NE of England needs no other name - but thismaz gave you its proper name - Hadrian's Wall.

So this is a picture of a bit of the wall near Housesteads fort - I was standing on it to take the picture and you can see it disappearing off into the distance;
