I'm exhausted, but... must... share... #2 is my fav.

I've become back up at my work for when they need additional Supervisors to answer questions, and take problem callers. I thought I'd share a couple with you.

1) Person calls in pissed because a service that was installed stopped working the following day. They wanted their installation waived in full. I explained that the service WAS installed, and that we fixed all problems with the service, free of charge, and credited the 3 days it didn't work. I'm sorry BITCH but the fucking service IS THERE and you ARE USING IT. If we were horrible people... WE WOULD HAVE CHARGED YOU FOR FIXING IT just like the competition you're threatening to go to DOES!!!

2) This dork (and I mean that like the whale penis FYI) called in bitching because he felt we should give him $180 for two missed appointments for tech support. I explained that we have a specific amount we credit for missed appointments, and put it on the account. He started screaming and insulting me. Here is an actual quote.
him:    "You're a fucking ass hole! You should call up your fucking MOTHER and tell her she raised a fucking piece of SHIT!"
me:   "I'd love to sir. But she died 6 months ago."
He got quiet, cursed some more, said he was disconnecting service, and hung up.

3) This lady called in pissed off because we offered her a promo a month ago, and because of some mix ups couldn't get it now. So she decided to try again. Problem, she's not eligible for that offer now. I explained the situation, she yelled that if she was eligible then that she should be eligible now. I apologized and said that I could only offer xyz. She demanded to speak to my superior. I explained that I had no one to connect her with regards to this situation because it was a matter of actual policy. She got bitchy, calling me a liar, so I offered her the address for our corporate headquarters to mail a complaint. I gave her my name, and my operator ID. She called me a liar because it happens to resemble a popular television acronym, and hung up.

I love these people. They make me feel like a good, sane, NORMAL person. They are my guide stick for normality. So long as I don't act like them, I'm all good.
