A Note From A Sup, & A Person

May 03, 2008 03:01

I started taking Sup calls for the first time officially tonight. I had a glorious Bitch on the line.

This caller was upset that her install didn't go through. I admit, our technician must have been a retard because he called ahead to make sure that the customer would be there... by calling the phone number... WE WERE INSTALLING!!!

But the customer just made things great by demanding that I have a tech out there tomorrow for the install.

1) I am with the BILLING DEPARTMENT!!! Did you NOT hear me say that when I got on the line and stated, "Hello, my name is J. I'm a supervisor here in the Billing Department at Big Corp. I understand you've been having some trouble with your install appointment?" I can not, at all, simply have someone there tomorrow. I'm not in DISPATCH! I'm in BILLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) I don't care if you are a 300k a year Company President. I'm not paid to care who the fuck you are. In fact, telling me you make more in one year than I make in 5 just makes me dislike you all the more. Because apparently you are too stupid to understand the difference between a Billing Supervisor and a Dispatch Supervisor, which means you do not deserve your obscenely high salary.

3) If I tell you repeatedly, "I'm sorry. This is the best we would be able to do."  That does not mean, "Please yell at me some more. I need more abuse before I give you what you need."

4) Do you NOT understand that we have your address? I mean, you're so fucking lucky I just happen to be a nice person. I fear when you run across I fuck head sociopath who just happens to be bored and unusually malicious.

Supervisors, I feel for you so much. You have my respect, condolences, and sympathy.

On a personal note, I don't know if C & P are reading this, but we have had a falling out. Please do not take this to mean I want you to not take part in the group I met you through. I wouldn't dream of holding you back from there do to my personal issues.

I'm sorry things worked out like they did, but the fates lay the cards as they see fit, non?
