(no subject)
Said some more goodbyes today. Final meeting about my Big Great Thing until I return in June. The meeting went really well. Not a lot has been accomplished (aside from the few bits I've done) but we're well on our way and everyone has a clear idea of what needs to happen for us to proceed.
Was especially hard to say goodbye to my favorite co-worker (or should I say former co-worker?) who is working on this with me and has generally held my hand through all of my crises over the last few months.
I finally found time to post photos from my leaving drinks after work on Thursday. Very enjoyable even if I left my own party rather early - had my first ever tequila shot and loved it. Probably helps that I was pretty wasted when that happened AND I managed to cycle home without a working back light. Oops :-/
Kids generally being lovely today, though B is getting a bit grumpy and prepubescent about taking care of his responsibilities at home. I baked a loaf of bread yesterday (wholewheat) and two today (white with oatmeal and millet, and white with tomato puree, olives, and rosemary). I also baked a small chocolate cake for the meeting and we managed to eat our way through most of it....
