Currently reading a book called The Child Inside. It's about a married woman who begins an affair with a married man. He is the younger brother of someone she was friends with as a teenager. The affair begins with them bonding over the death of her friend (his sister) many years before, but the theme of the book is loss, and connecting through common losses. Or at least that's what it seems to me (I'm only halfway through). Not the best book I've ever read, but I can't seem to put it down, partly because the woman is still grieving for her own unborn daughter who died when she was seven months pregnant. I guess I'm also bonding through loss.
