Being blind as a bat, with tears that emit excess protein and calcium, makes for an expensive eye doctor appointment. This guy was on GMA this morning. He's apparently devised a series of mathematical formulas to "assist" you in deciding on emotional issues--should I marry this person? Should I get divorced? Also, with things like whether one should be a monk and how many beers one should consume at the office party. Color me amused.

Had a delicious dinner at Safari DC. The meal included chicken and beef samosas, Kenyan sausage, Nyama Choma (roasted meat), Chapatti (a flatbread), Ugali (a polentalike corn cake), Mbuzi Choma (roasted goat), kachumbari (a pico like tomato dish), curried chicken, beef stew, goat stew, spiced rice, kale, and chai. This story about a football star raising his brother is really inspiring. I suppose you can rain on my parade and say people who aren't football stars do it all the time, and believe me, I admire any child that would parent a sibling. Regardless, it's a cool story.
