Spent the day in Memphis yesterday.
Now I have two more days in the office, and I'm off for another 4-day weekend. Huzzah! And that will use up what is left of my vacation for the 2014-15 fiscal year. This is the first time since the early 2000's that I have used all of my vacation leave.
In other news, I have been reading some old fan fiction pairings that I loved, specifically spikedluv's Mike/Henry stories from the "Blood Ties" fandom. Good times. Good times.
Since this past week was the Royal Ascot, I wore one of my fascinators to church on Sunday. It's black with a little iridescent green in it, and it looks like a sea urchin perched on the side of my head. I do love it so. I wore it with a black/white polka dot dress and simple silver jewelry, that wouldn't detract from the fascinator.
I also made the cookies for the Coffee Minute this week...gingersnaps and butterscotch pecan. They were both delicious, and people took extra home with them. So yay, me!
