New Hat
I bought this hat at Makowsky Millinery in Memphis last week.
I had been following her on Etsy for awhile, but last week was the first time that I had had an opportunity to visit her shop. It was lovely. I saw dozens of hats there that I would have liked to own. I bought this one because it was red--and I wear a lot of red in the winter--and because I loved the blocked shape of it.
Usually, when I wear a hat to work, I take it off while I'm working, because it gets too heavy or hot during the day. I wore my new hat today, and I still haven't taken it off yet, because it is so light and comfortable.
