My sister named her ceiling fan.

Long week, readers!
I spent a majority of the nights helping my fabulous sister move into her cute little apartment. It's much smaller than their old place, but cuter, in my opinion, and MUCH closer to me (and to several bars) which is the important part.
I'm loving my apartment more and more as the weather warms up, and my Giant Cloud of Suck begins to dissipate. Well, it goes back and forth. I would love to move in with Heather (Sister) but she already had a roommate (and also no dishwasher), plus the roomies and I had a fun time this morning, so I think I'll stick around. Also, Sister's downsizing means I get more furniture for my screened in porch. Score! Can you say reading outside?

My goal this (year? month? weekend?) is to read more. As I librarian, I feel like it's my duty to read as many books as possible, and then spit out reviews when patrons ask about them. Also, I have a Nook filled with 300 books, and a to-read list on GoodReads that has recently broken the thousand book mark. So many books! So little time!

Mini book summary o' the moment:
Just finished: Lost World - Michael Crichton. [spoilery minisummary](Fun book. Very much like the first. People go to this island, somehow get saddled with 2 kids. They try to outsmart the dinosaurs. They fail. All the bad guys get eaten. A few of the good guys do too. Ian Malcon is just as sexy, and manages to break his leg for a second time.)

I started A Canticle for Leibowitz last night. It's one of those Hugo Award Winners that I just never read. (Actually, that's MOST of the Hugo Award winners.) But it's really good so far, and relatively short.

Other than Sister's move, nothing new has really happened. Working a lot. It's snowing in May, which should be an impossibility, but sadly for Minnesota, it's not. I've downloaded season 2 of Zombies, Run! and am totally fangirling over it. Not only do Jack and Eugene make an adorable reappearance, but fabulous author Margaret Atwood is making a cameo! If you are at all into running (or in my case, walking) and have an iPhone or iPod, get it! I need someone to fangirl with.

Tonight's plan: go to Taco John's (or as we now call it, Club TJ's) for their 5 beef burritos for $5 deal. assemble the book shelf I FINALLY bought to hold all the library books I've got scattered on my floor. move new furniture out onto the deck. avoid the outside.

life is pretty good, i have the best sister ever, zombies run, reading, books
