Political news: Senator Clinton introduced a bill which connects congressional pay and the minimum wage.

Is this an election year? Yes. At the same time, forcing congressfolk to think about broader economic issues when giving themselves pay boosts is a mighty nice ploy.

A couple days ago, i walked home from work. This morning, i walked to work.

The walk takes me past the Blommer chocolate factory, which has lately been under investigation by the EPA.

I have commented in the past on the necessity of the separation of Church and State, not merely to allow the State to encourage an open and free society, but also to allow the Church freedom from political influence and the mire which inevitably accompanies it.
