HI! Hi. For some reason I feel like I haven't talked to you guys in forever even though I know that can't be true. But anyway, Hi!
I had a good birthday. Didn't do anything exciting, just ordered Java Noodle and watched American Idol and Jericho. Unfortunately, I am a getting a cold. But I can't reveal that at work because they will have a fit and send me home in fear of swine flu, and I don't have the sick days to deal with that. (The university wants us to take 7 days off at even the slightest hint of illness, which--NO. Lame. I don't even have 7 sick days left!)
I briefly considered going to see the JoBros in Dallas in June, but that's probably not going to happen. Mostly because I'd want to hide in shame up in the rafters and other people with less shame want actual real seats. Ha.
On Saturday I am going to see Star Trek, which I am super excited about. I don't know if I'm more excited about the movie or the chocolate peanut butter shake I will be getting. But either way both will be gotten, and I am excited YAY.
I'm working on a couple fics. The JoeJoBro-wakes-up-a-girl-and-no-one-notices fic, and the JuC wedding epic. I'm pretty excited about the wedding fic. Mostly I am excited about JC the Cake Designer. Does anyone know what the name of the show on Food Network is, where they follow the design of crazyass cakes? I need to do some research!! I also need to figure out how Joey and Chris fit in, and possibly some Backstreet Boys as well. Mostly, I am excited about writing something set in Chicago again. *hearts* I love that city.
For those of you wondering, I am still thinking about the Lifetime Original Movies Challenge. Although really, it needs a better name. Lifetime: where love and ferns go to die. I don't know! Help! Also, I would be more encouraged to run it if someone were willing to do a layout for me. And come up with a community name. And help me promote it. (The problem with half of fandom hating me is that no one wants to participate in my challenges, SIGH). I also still don't know if I'd restrict it to popslash or open it up to other fandoms. I know SPN/J2 just had their first big bang deadline, so maybe some of those people would be up for a challenge but... somehow I doubt it.
