Actually everything is not ruined forever after all

OK, so further to my last post like a million years ago (sorry guys, I am a terrible LJer - but life is less hectic now so I should be less full of fail from now on):

The account is unfrozen, it turns out I do not actually suck at being a treasurer all that much.

The play went down okay - I may have lost a couple of friendships out of the deal, but they were on the road to nowhere anyway. I used to worry that I was really fickle and dropped friends too easily, but I was talking to my gay boyfriend and realised that it's kind of the reverse - I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time, and it's just that it doesn't always pay off and eventually I have to let go of the ones that are bad for me, you know? So I think that is fair. Also, I made some new friends, so it's all part of life's rich tapestry and whatnot. Oh yeah, I ended up taking up a small role in the play, because one of the cast members dropped out. That was fun times. By the way, the play we were doing was Happy Birthday, Wanda June! by Kurt Vonnegut, the only play he ever wrote, and one I am proud to have shown to a (slightly) wider audience. It's one of my favourite plays ever. You should check it out - the script is online here.

I did the essays and they kicked arse. One of them got the highest mark I've had so far! The other was a high 2:1, which is still not too bad I think. Unfortunately the next essay I wrote got a 60 (that's like a borderline 2:1), and that was the only one of the three that was actually assessed. Lame, but oh well - I'll do better next time.

I gave up on NaNo after like 500 words. I suck.

Two more things: I am now on Twitter, here - anybody else use it? I like it a lot but think I'm not really using it to its full potential. There are a lot of people RPing as Mad Men characters - know if anyone's doing a similar thing with House, or any other awesome shows? Mad Men is one of my favourite new shows in a long time.

Secondly, I saw Wolf the other night. Great film. I know someone already did a House werewolf fic, but what are people's opinions? I do have a little idea gnawing at my brain...
