I absolutely love the quality of sunlight just before it starts setting. It's warm, as you mentioned in Departure Bay, and the color of the light itself ranges from deep orange to soft yellow, always rich, rich colors. Even though that particular description was brief, it made me think of the times I've felt that kind of sunlight. :)

DB was simultaneously lighthearted and intensely beautiful. I think, if I were Wilson, moments like those--the unstoppable laughter mixed with the gorgeous setting--would almost make my heart explode. Moments like that don't seem to happen often for them. That wasn't eloquent at all, but I think you know what I mean.

I'm barely even READING anything that's not on the syllabus at the moment, let alone writing. There are a couple of emails I've been putting off composing for about four days. It's terrible.
