Twenty-five years after his murder,
Peter Tosh,
was awarded The Jamaican Order of Merit (O.M.), one of the Nation's highest honors for his outstanding contributions to Jamaican culture. Bob Marley was awarded the O.M. shortly before his death in 1981. Surviving Wailer Neville 'Bunny Wailer' Livingston received the Order of Jamaica (OJ). Here's a recently discovered
excerpted clip of a 1987 BBC Special done shortly after his death. Those that don't have anything from Tosh's amazing body of work, there's a very
nicely priced set of his RSR & EMI Albums with some live tracks as a bonus. If there was any doubt why he deserved the honor, look no further.
