Children of Earth episode 2 - reaction post
Under the cut for the spoilers - remember there'll be spoilers in the comments too.
Again a bullet points list of things that I noticed during the episode.
- Andy you're in over your head. SHUT UT!!
- Ianto doesn't like ice cream because it gives him a headache. I sympathise!
- Yay for Gwen shooting out the tires!
- Lois is asking too many questions. She's going to get herself killed. Do NOT want! :(
- Ianto's brother-in-law is a star, setting up that diversion so his missus could go and see Ianto.
- Dialogue: Ianto's sister: What sort of civil servants are you?
Ianto: Unappreciated ones.
- Jack looks pretty good (once he heals) for someone who was blown to bits! But MAN do I not buy that. I'm sorry, but Rusty has worn out my ability to suspend my disbelief in such a major way.
- They're encasing Jack in concrete? Shit!
- Lois is BRILLIANT. Which means she's SO gonna die before the end of episode 5. Oh, and yes, Gwen's offered her a job at Torchwood - that's definitely a nail in the coffin.
- Ianto saved Jack with a big orange truck!
- Gwen's turned into Lara Croft! o_O
- Will Jack actually thank Ianto for dropping him from a great height?!
- Gwen closing her eyes at Jack's nekkidness made me giggle.
- Dekker seems incredibly relaxed, considering.
- Is Frobisher going to turn into a penguindie a noble, sacrificial death before this is all over?
And I KNEW that the black ops lot weren't with UNIT. When's Nick 'Voice of the Daleks' Briggs episode? Is that tonight?
