Buffy fans might remember the episode Earshot, in which a demon sting (or something) causes Buffy to develop telepathy; as a result, she learns that someone is planning a massacre at Sunnydale High. People get sick. People drink too much. Dogs fight. Dogs eat things that aren't food. Things break. Things catch on fire. Soup spills. Bread burns. Keys get lost. Computers crash. Chairs break. Feelings get hurt. Numbers get lost. Assignments get missed. Shit happens.

And the world keeps right on spinning.

Right. This advice has been coming at me from all directions, lately: remember to have fun! If it's not fun, why are you even doing it? About fandom, writing (specifically NaNo), cooking, owning dogs, bike riding, and probably some other things that don't come to mind just now.
